Basic Info on Internships
- Internships for a minimum period of 4 months. Preference will be given to candidates applying for positions of duration 6 month-1 year.
- Current openings in Business & Design for Hong Kong office and Production side in Shanghai.
- Learn more about ODM and our role in International Trade.
Duties are not limited to the below.
Business Side
- Build market lists by Country / Product.
- Call prospects to gauge interest and feedback on products.
- Visit Trade Shows in Hong Kong to identify new product and market trends.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Arrange prompt quotations to customers according to needs.
- Liaise with our Shanghai office to follow up on Production of orders.
- Liaise with our Singapore office on new product development.
- Champion at least 1 product launch during placement.
- Contribute to our Blog, Social media & Marketing.
- ODM also taking on a specialists for SEO.
Production Side
- Liaise with factories to follow up on samples, quotes, orders, and to redefine product specs for factories.
- Work with merchandisers and quality control staff employed by the ODM Group and Quality Command.
- Follow up with suppliers to make sure the products we sell are top quality and delivered on time.
- Visit factory to see production – Carry out Spot Checks.
Design
- Competent in Graphic Design software solutions.
- Abililty to work directly with inventors to bring products from Concept through to manufacture.
- Strong understanding of production materials a plus.
