In 2013, ODM launched Mindsparkz, a full-service Design Agency, to help with early-stage Product Development, Ideation, and Marketing. Our graphics and product designers are capable of meeting individual needs and brainstorming with you to turn your vision into reality
We are looking for an Industrial Designer to join our Mindsparkz team. You will be responsible for supporting product development from concept → design → mock-up → factory-ready specifications, while also providing design visuals for client presentations and marketing content.
This role is ideal for designers who want to work on real products that are produced, shipped, and used globally, not concept-only design work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
ODM’s typical design products: Promotional Products, POS Displays, Packaging Design, and related consumer products.
1 / Conceptualization and Ideation
- Collaborate with the merchandise manufacturing team and sales team to understand market trends, customer needs, and client briefs.
- Generate creative, marketable, and feasible design concepts for merchandise and promotional products.
2 / Product Sketching and Rendering
- Create detailed product sketches and renderings to visually communicate design ideas to clients, merchandisers, and factories.
- Develop 3D models of merchandise to support client presentations, costing, and sampling.
3 / Mock-ups Creation (2D / 3D)
- Work closely with the merchandise manufacturing and sales teams to create 2D and 3D mock-ups for client review.
- Iterate and refine designs based on feedback related to manufacturing feasibility, cost targets, and sales insights.
4 / Specification Sheets and Documentation
- Develop detailed specification sheets for each product, including materials, dimensions, finishes, and manufacturing guidelines.
- Ensure all design files and documentation are accurate and clearly communicated to the manufacturing and merchandiser teams.
5 / Product Development & Product Solutions
- Provide innovative, practical product development solutions that balance creativity, cost-effectiveness, and manufacturability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other designers to maintain design quality and consistency and streamline the product development and approval process.
6 / Marketing Content & Visual Support
- Support the Marketing team by providing product visuals, sketches, renderings, and design explanations for blog articles, case studies, and online content.
- Help communicate ODM’s design capabilities, product innovation, and development process clearly to a global B2B audience

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design (or related) with at least 2 years of experience in product or merchandise design.
- Proficient in 3D modeling, rendering, and sketching, with strong visual communication skills.
- Good English and the ability to work with international clients and cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and production constraints.
- Detail-oriented, able to deliver high-quality, market-ready designs.
- Graphic design skills are a plus.
