ODM Group is a Promotional Products Marketing Agency founded in 2003, providing end-to-end solutions from concept to production for global clients. With operations across Asia and our design agency Mindsparkz, we support product development, ideation, and marketing with a strong in-house creative team.
We is seeking a Managing Director to lead our Vietnam operations and work closely with our China team. This role combines strategy and hands-on work across sourcing, production, design, and client service, guiding teams and building strong partnerships across Asia.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategic Leadership: Lead and inspire Vietnam teams across Partnerships, Marketing, Design, and Client Experience & Product Realisation, ensuring alignment with company strategy and client expectations.
- Global Collaboration: Oversee China Merchandising & Production teams, driving cross-border workflows and ensuring seamless execution with international markets and partners.
- Client Partnership: Manage and expand global client relationships, ensuring exceptional service delivery and sustained account growth.
- Business Development: Drive client acquisition and partnership initiatives across Vietnam, China, and other international markets.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure world-class execution across RFQs, sampling, mass production, quality control, and logistics across multiple markets.
- Performance Management: Implement and monitor KPIs for Vietnam and China teams, fostering accountability, operational discipline, and continuous improvement.
- Financial Stewardship: Oversee financial performance, ensuring profitable growth, effective risk management, and long-term value creation.
- Sustainability & Best Practices: Champion sustainable sourcing practices and operational excellence across all functions and markets.
- Representation: Represent ODM at industry events, trade shows, and key client meetings globally.
- Travel: Lead international engagements, including regular trips to China for team leadership, factory inspections, and client meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 8-10 years of progressive leadership experience in sourcing, manufacturing, or promotional products, including senior management roles.
- Proven success managing multicultural teams across borders (Vietnam/China experience strongly preferred).
- Strong business development and key account management skills.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, supply chain, and production workflows in Asia.
- Hands-on, proactive leader with strong team development and problem-solving skills.
- Commercially savvy with experience in P&L ownership and operational strategy.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills – confident, engaging, and dynamic in client-facing roles.
- Business fluency in English required; Vietnamese and/or Chinese language skills highly advantageous.
