People tend to think that only creative people can come up with ‘out-of-the-box’ ideas but that is not true. Innovation can be ‘manufactured’ through a logical process. A simple innovation process coupled with tools can aid a primary-schooler to be innovative.
The workshops touched on a simple 4-step innovation process and tools to use in each step. Discussions and hands-on activities such as touching prototyping materials and building their own Electronic Water Gun encouraged the students to learn by experience.
ODM will continue to grow this very important initiative to develop young entrepreneurial talent, to roll out classes for different demographic groups, and to foster intellectual property development.
