Cheerios has decided to celebrate the release of the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises by launching a gift with purchase promotion. Every purchase of a box of cereal from the famous brand comes with a Batman stunt figure.
This is a great in-pack promotion by Cheerios because it is an incentive gift to fans of the Batman series. The joint effort between 2 industry heavy weights, Warner Bros and Cheerios, definitely increased the visibility of both brands. Furthermore, it is a good method of enhancing the cereal label’s brand awareness.
