Nestle recently held an On Pack Promo in Hong Kong to drive sales of its Carnation brand of products. Spotted at TASTE Supermarket, they were taking advantage of the Valentine’s Day Season to capture hearts of all customers.
Each promotional pack purchased comes with a thermal flask, a very conventional item that is related to the main purchase. Consumers could use it to keep their milk warm and contain hot beverages as well. A multi purpose promotional item that comes in handy.
However, this On Pack Packaging could have been improved. The promotional product is not related to Valentine’s Day at all and packaging stated “wishing the other party good health”.
Suggested alternative to bottle is a heart shaped shopping bag. Other options to make it more related is to have special print and colours for the bottle.
