We’ve written a lot of blogs about the different trade shows in Hong Kong and, as you all know, most of them are organized by the famous HKTDC (Hong Kong Trade & Development Council). But what you probably don’t know is that the HKCEC also has a SME Centre. It’s a great initiative from the HKTDC and we wanted to spread the word about it.

Located at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC), this newly renovated SME Centre provides you with all the resources you need to do business. It is a cosy service centre that can provide you with any kind of resources you (or your business) may need.

If you’re looking for a quiet and convenient place to work when you are in Hong Kong for a few days, it could be the perfect place for you to be. This service centre offers :
- a massive business library
- an access to a lot of offline databases
- a few private meeting rooms
- a 5,000 sq ft comfortable reading area
- a full wi-fi access
- a team of very helpful HKTDC staff to assist you

All these above services are 100% free of charge!
The SME Centre also serves as a one-stop shop for HKTDC to introduce comprehensive services in export marketing to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Whether you are a young start-up or an established SME looking for solid business contacts, up-to-date information on overseas markets, latest industry trends and more, you will find them all here. SME Centre – Entrance
The SME Centre is open every day, Monday to Friday, from 10am to 6pm and on Saturday from noon to 4pm. An array of conferences, business matching and networking activities are also held at the SME Centre throughout the year to help professionals gain new business contacts. If your looking for a place to work while in town, we strongly recommend you to spend time in this SME Centre as opposed to staying in your hotel room, it’s a perfect working environment!
