Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Establishment Day is celebrated every 1 July. This year marks the 15th anniversary and it seems that HK is really getting geared up to celebrate in fashion.
This public holiday commemorates the day Britain returned the keys of the colony to China on the 1st July 1997 (Handover day). During the evening of 1 July, one will be expecting a stunning Fireworks display held in Victoria Harbour.
