ABSTRACT : Collapsible Shoe   (subject of pending PCT application No. PCT/AU2009/001561)

A collapsible shoe including a shoe platform that includes a shoe sole having an underneath continuous platform street layer and an upper collapsing mechanism, forming two parts with a dovetail connection means as shown in Figure 1 extending between the two parts of shoe upper.  The connection means including a strap and two spaced parts of the upper forming the shoe upper.  Each part is connected to a respective one of the two parts of the shoe platform by gluing part insole, which is stitched to upper, to the top of the font part and rear part respectively of the shoe platform.  The strap extends between the two parts.  The collapsing mechanism allowing the collapsible shoe to fold back on itself such that the continuous platform street layer of the at least two parts substantially face each other.
