Brands often use the on-pack promotion technique to market their products as a way of increasing their awareness to customers. In the coffee and tea industry especially it can be difficult to set yourselves out from other brands to promote items that are are more unique than a promotional mug, but yet are still useful.
Coffee giants Nescafé however have gone further in their on-pack promotion at a Chinese supermarket in Zhuhai, and are offering more than a mug in their promo set. Alongside the promotional coffee mug they are also offering a rather unique coffee accessory – the hand held milk frother.
So what exactly is a milk frother you might ask?
When buying coffee in coffee shops you will notice that the top of your coffee has a nice foamy topping of frothed milk, and this is created by quickly whisking air into the milk and mixing it in with the coffee using a whisk such as the one in this promotion.
The milk frother in Nescafé’s on-pack promotion is similar to the image above. This a battery-operated handheld whisk and works by putting the circular-shaped whisk at the top, into the warmed milk before pouring it on top of your coffee.
