Elf recently gave away to some lucky garage owners a set of four different vintage mugs as part of the celebration of the brand. One mug shows the evolution of the Elf’s logo and another one show the evolution of the packaging of the best selling item of the brand. The two other mugs are printed with old pictures of racing cars.

All these several printings introduce the know-how and heritage of Elf. That is to say that this brand was used before and it still on the market, thus, the products are high-end and in tune with the times. I do not know if you noticed but the logo of the brand was also printed on the bottom of the mugs. Thanks to that, in one glimpse, the mugs are visible in the cupboard. Pretty clever!

Using retro promos is very trendy nowadays. It’s important to capitalize on the history of the brand that allows the customers to feel more close to the company as they are sharing identical values. Vintage marketing is not more expensive that any other tradition marketing campaign. When your brand use promotional items -like those mugs-, the sales increase along with your brand awareness too.

Moreover, the cost of giveaways is pretty low and has a huge impact on customer’s satisfaction and loyalty.
