Dutch brewery Brand has been spotted with a new Gift with Purchase campaign in a Dutch supermarket: get a Free Cap when purchasing a crate of beer. Promotional caps are somewhat of a classic when it comes to promotional products. Because they are so versatile, there are many options to choose from for the design, colour and logo.
This promotion is currently happening in Albert Heijn supermarkets across the Netherlands. Using promotional caps as a Gift with Purchase is a great way to improve your Brand Recognition and Market Reach. The cap is dark green, the signature colour of Brand. The name and crest have been stitched on the front of the cap. Because it´s so visible, it makes a very convenient and easy way to promote your brand.
In order to promote the Gift with Purchase, the products are displayed on a small In Store Display, with crates of Brand beer around it. When customers walk past this Display, they can quickly and easily make a purchase decision and grab a crate of beer and a cap.
However; there is still some room for improvement with this In Store Display. As you can see, a simple A4 sized paper is used to explain about the promotion. We would strongly recommend using a special advertisement display for this. The product itself is standing in a special display, but it’s almost tucked away and not very visible.
It´s easy enough to just slap a cap on a Gift with Purchase display and hope for the best. Brand, however, carefully designed a light-brown paper bag as a package for the caps. This gives a very rustic touch. On the customised bag, Brand explains that they passionately brew beer with the finest ingredients. That same care has gone into making the cap, as it was made from Organic and Fair Trade cotton. On the bottom part of the bag, all the aspects and details of their company crest is explained.
