In General, trains to and from Beijing & Shanghai take 23.5 hours & 18.5 hours respectively. In view of the long hours sleeper facilities are standard in various classes. The Hung Hom Train Station is more than just a place for a train ride up to Dongguan or Shenzhen. Hung Hom is the home to The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Cross Harbour Tunnel and Hong Kong Coliseum. Located one stop away from East Tsim Sha Tsui MTR stop, Hung Hom is also very accessible via ferry (Hung Hom Pier), Bus and Taxi.
