To promote the 2010 World Expo in Shanghai the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination gave out some promotions featuring the Haibao mascot. Indeed, everywhere you turn in Shanghai the mascot is visible.
- Haibao mascot promo keyrings are featured with some shanghai landmarks on keychains, – the shanghai oriental pearl, shanghai jinmao tower, shanghai world financial center and so on….
- Pins are made with LED and pc board, it lights up when you touch it – it certainly echos some of the exhibits given the great deal of LED lighting used in the different pavilions.
- For POS displays in hotels, shopping centers, gift shops etc.. large inflatable mascots are used. Sand is injected into the character in order to weigh down the mascot so it does not fall over.
