ODM tracks Promotional products trends on an on-going basis. We’ve extrapolated data from over 180,000 tweets in 2016 to see who was tweeting and what about. As a promotional products focused company, we really need to stay on top of most popular items to see what works and how best to direct our customers.
Lets start with the top 25 movers and shakers on Twitter. ODM don’t qualify for a mention and for this reason we apologize. We’ll do better next year.
Tracking Giveaway trends
So now we know who was tweeting Giveaways, now it’s time to find out what was said. To do this we had extrapolated the data from the 180,000 tweets to see which words came up most, the larger a word is the more it was used.
As can be seen, #giveaway was the largest and of course RT. What was interesting though was the mentions of promotions, prize drinks and freegift. With Twitter a lot of these giveaways can be virtual but with a few of these mentions it shows that there is a market for a physical giveaway!
