This current promotion for Kellogs Coco Balls in Hong Kong mirrors another promotion we saw by their Frosties cereal brand.

Advertising position on box is standard & logo method on the gift itself is the same.  Some lessons from this promotion.

  • If it ain’t broke don’t fix it…
  • Make gifts more appealing by changing Pantone colour of the plastics to match brand.
  • Brand managers must communicate internally to stretch budgets & gain Economies to scale in manufacture.
