Yahoo! promoted its online advertising solutions during the recent SME trade show in HK.   They offered a quick workshop on keywords for online advertising – all at their booth.  The salesman did some tests to show ODM where we were positioned.

As a show special their “Assisted Setup Plan” for adverts was offered for free and buyers also got a Travel Kit valued at HK$ 200.  Kit Included travel adapter, a towel and a travel eye mask.

The travel kit is a nice idea that shows Yahoo!’s interest for its clients in the region, marketing managers who endure frequent regional business trips.

As a special thanks for dropping by the booth and dropping off our business card Yahoo gave us a lucky dip prize – we picked out the lanyard and they also gave us promotional leafletbrochure.

Lanyards are a very common but yet efficient promotional product, practical in the work environment and you can keep useful objects close to you all the time (mobile phonekeys, pens, etc…).  In addition the Yahoo lanyard has got a spring reel that enables you to use whatever is hold to the string without taking the lanyard off your neck.

According to figures in May 2010, there were 4.14 million active Internet Users in Hong Kong . Yahoo! offers online promotional tools to businesses to take full advantage of online marketing to draw new costumers and explore new opportunities.
