What is the difference between N95 masks and KN95 masks?

Face masks are often regulated according to the country of origin to determine the standards of the face mask. For example, N95 is a standard of face mask regulated by the United States (US) KN95 is a standard of face mask regulated by China. The number 95 represents the filter performance. In this case, both N95 and KN95 masks have a filter performance of more or equal to 95%.
